But Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and whether you are happily paired off, resolutely single, or simply happily banging your head against the wall in hopes of a different result, there’s nothing wrong with a little friendly VD pre-gaming with New York’s most glittering, self-obliterating literati. I enjoy that the response to my anti-VYou tirade is that they sponsor a party I regularly attend. As if goodwill were any way to argue reasonably for becoming an immature goof-off. OH, I GET TO RECORD MY OWN VIDEO AT THIS PARTY? WELL, THEN, I WILL JUST THROW AWAY ALL OF MY TIME ON THIS NOT-USEFUL IDEA!

Then again, I don’t know what I could possibly do that is useful without spending money or wasting time on nothing. Except take a trip down to Zuccotti Park.
